December 13, 2011 Update: Construction is in full swing on CHRISTUS Village, and the area’s first Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) is scheduled to open Spring 2012! Until then, you can stay current with the building progress on this page.
Christus Village - Lake Charles was designed by Three, a leading architecture firm that specializes in state-of-the-art resorts and residential accommodations. It is taking shape in the master-planned community of Graywood. To ensure quality and durability, the latest 21st century construction techniques are employed throughout our French Country-inspired campus.
Residences and community buildings will take up only 15 of the 40 acres on campus, leaving plenty of space for trails, trees, park-like settings and natural beauty. You can drive or walk by today to see brand new apartments and chateaus taking shape as your ideal retirement comes to life.
